The high grass, which takes centre stage in this painting, was created with a palette knive, with quick brushstrokes and multiple layers. This technique adds to the impression of wind in the grass and movement in the whole painting. It is an impression, a quick, passing moment in time.
This painting is part of my spring exhibition in Seeshaupt, The Starnbergsee Hideaway.
