This still life features ripe apricots from our garden and a small pink posy in one of my favourite vases.
The colours in this painting reflect the warm, all engulfing summer sun. The ripe fruits, that will only last another day, remind us of the abundance of summer and evoke the idea of vanitas — the transience of life and the ever-changing seasons.

Currently framed in matching, light coloured wooden floater frame.
